The Toy Chest 31 (model TC-31) from Smart Industries is a compact claw crane designed for high-traffic amusement locations. Built on an aluminum frame with 18-gauge steel console construction, it combines a durable cabinet with park-themed graphics available in three color options: Yellow, Black, and Pink. Custom graphics are also available for operators who want a venue-specific look.

The console is constructed from high-security 18-gauge steel and includes steel security padlock tabs on both the console and front glass door. The cabinet is tamper resistant and coat hanger proof, with an independent locking coin box and tempered safety glass throughout.

How It Plays

Players insert coins or use a swipe card to activate the crane, then use the 4-way joystick to position the medium claw over their chosen prize. The Credit/Timer Display (LCM) shows remaining play time or credits, and the interactive sound system provides audio feedback throughout the play session. A prize is awarded when the claw successfully retrieves an item and drops it into the prize chute.

Available Claw Options

The TC-31 ships standard with a medium claw. Optional claw upgrades are available in Large, Knobby, and Small configurations to suit different prize types and sizes.

Bill Acceptor Options

The cabinet is DBA ready and can be configured with a 300-bill stacker. Compatible bill acceptor brands include Pyramid, ICT, and MEI. A Looney/Twoney coin mech is also available, but only when ordering with dual coin mechs.

220-Volt Option

A 220-volt AC configuration is available for international deployments or venues with non-standard power infrastructure.

Security Features

The independent locking coin box, padlock tabs on the console and front glass door, and coat hanger-proof cabinet design are all standard on the TC-31, reducing vulnerability in unsupervised or semi-supervised locations.
