Two 50-inch vertical screens face the aisle. The gun-and-headset assembly descends to the player, then lifts itself back.
Overview
The Sega VR Agent is a coin-operated, attendant-free virtual reality arcade shooter in which the VR headset is physically fused to the light-gun controller — a single integrated unit that motorizes down to the player's height at game start and lifts automatically when the session ends. Players choose from four secret agent characters and fight through five missions of increasing difficulty, culminating in a final boss level. Two cabinets link together to run up to four players simultaneously in the same session.
Key Features
Integrated VR Aiming Controller
The headset mounts directly to the light-gun chassis — one unit carries the trigger, reload button, and head-tracking hardware together. Players aim by moving the gun and turning their head; the sensor system captures full head movement so leaning physically around a corner translates into the VR environment in real time.
Automatic Gun-and-Headset Lift Mechanism
At the start of each game the combined controller assembly motorizes down to the standing player's level. At session end it returns to its resting position automatically. The full reset cycle requires no attendant, keeping the unit operational during peak traffic without staff intervention.
Air Cannon Force Feedback
When an in-game enemy scores a hit, the cabinet fires a physical blast of air at the player via an onboard air cannon. The tactile response requires no wearable hardware beyond the integrated controller itself — the jolt is delivered entirely by the cabinet.
Robot Mode
A selectable setting in the cabinet's configuration menu replaces all human enemy characters with robot models. The switch is software-only — no hardware modification required — making it available to toggle between sessions to match the venue's audience.
Dual 50-Inch Vertical Spectator Screens
Two 50-inch displays mount vertically on the cabinet and broadcast the player's live first-person VR view outward. Bystanders see every shot, every corner lean, and every boss encounter in real time while the player is fully immersed in the headset.
Two-Cabinet Link for Four-Player Play
Each cabinet accommodates two simultaneous players, one per side. Two cabinets connect to run four players in the same session. Each player position has its own coin slot and accepts card swipe payment independently.
How It Plays
The player grips the integrated gun-and-headset controller as it lowers to their standing height, raises it to their face, and immediately enters a first-person VR environment — aiming by moving the gun and turning their head, leaning physically to track enemies around corners. Each enemy hit triggers the onboard air cannon, sending a burst of air at the player's body. From outside the cabinet, the two 50-inch vertical screens display the player's live VR perspective in full, showing every shot and boss encounter to anyone standing nearby.

Why Operators Love It
Full Coin-Op Cycle Without Staff
The motorized lift handles every controller reset between plays — gun and headset raise to standby automatically at session end. The unit is designed to run unattended from open to close, with no staff involvement required to prepare the machine for the next player.
Per-Position Payment Inputs
Each player position carries its own coin slot and card swipe reader — two inputs per cabinet, four total across a two-cabinet linked setup. All payment hardware ships with the cabinet; no external retrofit is required to accept card payments.
Expandable from Single to Dual Cabinet
One cabinet operates as a standalone two-player unit. A second cabinet connects directly when the operator is ready to expand. The link requires no additional hardware beyond the second cabinet itself.
Dual-Voltage Power Supply
The cabinet accepts both 110V at 12A and 220V at 6A — both drawing 1350W total. Standard US 110V venues install the unit without a step-up transformer, and 220V locations are equally supported.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Sega VR Agent require an attendant to reset between players?
No. The gun-and-headset assembly lowers automatically at the start of each game and lifts back to standby at session end. The full reset cycle is motorized and the unit is designed for unattended coin-op operation.
How many players can use the Sega VR Agent at the same time?
A single cabinet supports two simultaneous players, one per side. Two cabinets link together to run four players in the same session. Each player position has its own coin slot and card swipe input.
What power supply does the Sega VR Agent require?
The cabinet operates on either 220V at 6A or 110V at 12A — both configurations draw 1350W total. The dual-voltage design means the unit installs in standard US 110V locations without a step-up transformer.
Is the Sega VR Agent appropriate for family entertainment centers?
Yes. Robot Mode replaces all human enemy characters with robot models via a software setting in the cabinet's configuration menu. The mode requires no hardware modification and can be toggled by the operator between sessions.
Ideal Placement
The assembled footprint — 129 inches wide by 102 inches deep, standing 93 inches tall — requires a dedicated floor zone with open ceiling clearance. Family entertainment centers, trampoline parks, bowling center arcades, and movie theater lobbies all carry the floor space and ceiling height the unit needs. Positioning along a main traffic aisle or near an entrance puts the two outward-facing 50-inch screens in direct sightline of foot traffic.
