A column of LEDs climbs the cabinet face. Each strike pushes the light line higher.

Overview

The Kalkomat Hammer is a strength-tester amusement machine built for commercial venues. Players strike a secured mallet platform, and a vertical LED display reads their force level in real time. The cabinet ships in two themed paint configurations — Lumberjack and Pirate — and accepts a menu of optional upgrades including ticket dispensing, bill and coin acceptance, and a silencing module.

Key Features

LED Force Display

A large LED display runs the height of the cabinet. LEDs illuminate in sequence to simulate the level rising with each strike — the harder the hit, the higher the light column climbs. The display reads clearly from a distance, making each result visible to bystanders across the room.

Secured Mallet

The mallet is attached to the cabinet rather than a free-swinging accessory. This tethered design keeps the strike implement with the machine at all times, reducing loss and preventing the mallet from being used outside the unit.

Multi-Currency Payment System

While this Kalkomat unit does not include standard payment methods, you can easily customize it to fit your needs. Upgrade your build with optional coin acceptance, bill validators, or credit card and card reader options.

Optional Ticket Dispenser

A ticket dispenser is available as an upgrade, converting the Hammer into a redemption machine. Operators can configure ticket payout thresholds to match the strength levels tracked by the LED display.

Silencing Upgrade

An optional silencing upgrade reduces the impact noise generated during play. This is available for operators placing the unit in noise-sensitive environments such as restaurant dining areas or hotel lobbies.

Custom Paint Themes

The Hammer ships in two full custom paint configurations: Lumberjack and Pirate. Both are applied at the factory — operators select the theme at time of order rather than receiving a generic cabinet.

How It Plays

The player grips the secured mallet and swings it down onto the strike platform. Force sensors read the impact and the LED column climbs in real time — peaking at the highest level reached before resetting for the next play. From across the room, the climbing light column is visible to anyone nearby, making each result public the moment it registers.

Why Operators Love It

Rubber Legs Protect the Floor and the Machine

The cabinet stands on rubber legs that absorb vibration from each strike. This protects hard flooring surfaces from impact damage and reduces lateral movement of the machine during play, avoiding the need to reposition or re-level the unit over time.

Upgradeable Payment Configuration at Any Time

While this Kalkomat unit does not include standard payment methods, you can easily customize it to fit your needs. Upgrade your build with optional coin acceptance, bill validators, or credit card and card reader options.

Optional Network Modem for Remote Monitoring

An internet connection modem is available as an optional upgrade. This allows remote access to machine data, which reduces on-site service trips for operators running multiple locations or route placements.

Protective Cover for Transit and Storage

An optional protective cover is offered for operators who rotate machines between locations or store units seasonally. The cover protects the cabinet's custom paint finish during transport and storage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Kalkomat Hammer come with a coin acceptor?

While this Kalkomat unit does not include standard payment methods, you can easily customize it to fit your needs. Upgrade your build with optional coin acceptance, bill validators, or credit card and card reader options.

Can the Kalkomat Hammer dispense redemption tickets?

A ticket dispenser is available as an optional upgrade. The base unit does not include a dispenser, so operators who want redemption functionality should specify this upgrade at the time of order.

What are the assembled dimensions of the Kalkomat Hammer?

Is there an option to reduce the impact noise on the Hammer?

Yes. Kalkomat offers a silencing upgrade specifically for the Hammer. This module reduces the noise generated when the mallet strikes the platform, making the unit more suitable for placement in quieter venue environments.

Ideal Placement

The Kalkomat Hammer fits naturally in family entertainment centers, bowling center arcades, and trampoline parks where high-traffic floor space supports a full-footprint unit at 41 x 48 inches. The optional silencing upgrade extends placement suitability to restaurant waiting areas, hotel game rooms, and pizzerias where ambient noise management is a factor. The Pirate and Lumberjack themes also align well with themed FEC environments and mini-golf clubhouses with a corresponding aesthetic.
