Overview

The Kalkomat Arctic is a full-size, two-player coin-operated air hockey table built for continuous commercial deployment indoors or in semi-outdoor settings. Its 100% waterproof construction — polycarbonate perforated backlit playfield, LED-lit polycarbonate rails, illuminated feet, and an integrated fast-drying mainboard system — allows placement in covered patios, boardwalk venues, or traditional arcade floors without modification. Onboard software supports coin-op and free-play modes, multi-currency bill and coin acceptance, and fully electronic scoring.

100% Waterproof Construction with Integrated Fast-Drying System

Every component — playfield surface, electronics housing, and cabinet — is rated fully waterproof. The onboard fast-drying system actively clears moisture from spills or weather exposure, protecting the mainboard and internal electronics. The table operates in high-humidity environments and covered outdoor spaces without a protective enclosure or cover requirement.

Polycarbonate Backlit Playing Surface and LED Rail Lighting

The playing surface is a perforated polycarbonate panel with light diodes embedded beneath it, illuminating the field from below during play. LEDs run along the polycarbonate rails and through the illuminated feet. Interactive light and sound effects fire with game events — goals, countdowns, game start and end — making active sessions visible from across the room in both indoor and low-light outdoor settings.

Multi-Currency Payment Acceptance - Optional upgrades

The cabinet can accept bills and coins in all currencies as well as tokens, with the coin acceptor and bill acceptor operating simultaneously. Free-play mode is configurable via onboard software for locations that do not require payment. Optional upgrades add a second banknote acceptor, a second coin slot, or Internet Wi-Fi with Boxnet network integration.

Electronic Scoreboard and Credit Display

A dedicated electronic scoreboard tracks each player's score and updates in real time as goals land. A separate display shows current credit count and remaining game time simultaneously, readable by anyone standing alongside the table.

260W Commercial Blower

The 260-watt air pump drives the blower system that floats pucks across the full 93.7-inch playing surface. Curved protective side rails and clear safety barriers contain the puck during fast exchanges. In game mode the table draws 390W; in demo/attract mode it idles at 60W.

Includes 4 Mallets and 6 Pucks

The table ships with four mallets and six pucks. Having spare pucks on hand from day one reduces downtime from lost or worn pucks without requiring an immediate parts order.

How It Plays

Each player grips a mallet and drives the puck across the glowing polycarbonate surface, trying to score into the opposing goal before time expires. The electronic scoreboard updates the moment each goal lands. Light and sound effects trigger with game events, marking the active session from across the room.
