Ten balls on a 32-by-48-inch slate. Two goals. Every shot navigates a field of dome shake-proof bumpers.
Overview
The Great American Eagle Bumper Pool is a coin-operated pool table that replaces standard corner pockets with two fixed goals and a field of integrated bumpers, producing a game that combines pool banking mechanics with pinball-style deflection. Each player controls five solid-colored balls and works to sink them through the opponent's goal, using the bumpers as both obstacles and banking surfaces. The table is built on a 3/4-inch dual steel one-piece slate measuring 32 by 48 inches, housed in a cabinet-grade plywood cabinet with a modular coin box designed for simple field service.
Key Features
Dual Steel One-Piece Slate Playfield
The playing surface is a 3/4-inch dual steel one-piece slate draped in cloth, supported by dual steel slate supports that maintain a flat, level plane across the full 32-by-48-inch surface. This construction produces the consistent ball roll that bumper banking shots depend on. Adjustable leg levelers allow the table to be set level on uneven floors without shimming.
Dome Shake-Proof Washer Bumper System
Dome shake-proof washers are mounted on rail bolts, corners, and slate supports throughout the bumper field. This hardware keeps each bumper firmly seated under repeated ball impact, maintaining a fast, tight play surface over extended commercial use.
Modular Coin Box with Configurable Play Cost
The coin mechanism is housed in a modular coin box designed for simple service and replacement in the field. The table ships defaulted to $1 per play; a vertical 8-mechanism configuration is also available for locations requiring a different coin-stack setup — specify the desired configuration at time of order. An electronic bill acceptor is available as a factory upgrade for locations preferring bill-in play.
Double-Roller Ball Return
The ball release uses double rollers, which reduces friction on each return cycle and decreases wear on the cabinet interior over time. The separate ball return system holds balls locked until a game is purchased, then releases them smoothly via the double-roller mechanism.
Cabinet-Grade Plywood Construction with Custom Finish Options
The cabinet is built from quality cabinet-grade plywood and is available from the factory in mahogany, black, or light oak laminate. Custom laminate colors are available as a factory option — specify at time of order. Gold trim accents (gold corners, extruded corners, and trim molding) are also available as a factory add-on, replacing the standard chrome hardware throughout.
Complete Accessory Package Included
Each table ships with a complete accessory package: 2 cue sticks, bumper pool balls, chalk, and rules. The table arrives ready to put into play immediately upon delivery.
How It Plays
Each player positions their cue ball and shoots toward the opponent's goal, using the integrated bumpers to route or redirect the shot — there are no corner pockets, so every attempted score must navigate the bumper field. With only two goals and ten balls in play across the compact 32-by-48-inch surface, the table reads as a fast, active game from nearby: balls deflect off bumpers in multiple directions and the small goal openings produce frequent near-misses that are visible to anyone standing at the table.

Why Operators Love It
Compact Footprint for Tight Floor Plans
At 41.5 inches wide by 57.5 inches long, the Eagle Bumper Pool fits in spaces where a full-size pool table cannot. The footprint is roughly half the floor area of a standard 8-foot pool table, making it viable for bar corners, smaller game rooms, and route stops with limited square footage.
Modular Coin Box Simplifies Field Service
The coin box housing is designed for simple removal and replacement — the entire module pulls without disassembling the cabinet. This design shortens service time on a route stop where the table needs a coin mechanism swap or cashbox pull.
Factory-Level Configuration Avoids Field Adjustments
Play cost, cloth color, laminate finish, trim hardware, and the optional electronic bill acceptor are all specified at order time and installed at the factory. The table arrives set for the operator's location, eliminating post-delivery configuration work.
Leg Levelers for Uneven Floors
Adjustable leg levelers are built into the table, allowing operators to compensate for uneven floors common in older bar and restaurant spaces — no shimming or custom flooring work required.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the coin and non-coin models of the Great American Eagle Bumper Pool?
The coin model includes a sliding coin mechanism housed in a modular coin box — when a game ends, the mechanism holds balls in the return until the next player inserts coins. The non-coin model (BPH) releases balls freely and is suited for home game rooms or locations using an attendant-managed play system.
What is included with the Great American Eagle Bumper Pool at delivery?
Each table ships with a complete accessory package: 2 cue sticks, bumper pool balls, chalk, and a rules sheet. The table arrives ready to put into play without requiring separate accessory orders.
Can the felt color and cabinet finish be customized on the Great American Eagle Bumper Pool?
Yes. Standard cloth colors are green, electric blue, and black; custom cloth colors are available as a factory option. Standard laminate finishes are mahogany, black, and light oak; custom laminate colors are also available. Gold corner and trim hardware can replace standard chrome throughout — all options are specified at time of order.
Does the Great American Eagle Bumper Pool accept bills in addition to coins?
An electronic bill acceptor is available as a factory-installed upgrade on the coin model. It operates on 12V DC battery power and is specified at time of order. The standard coin model accepts coins only.
Ideal Placement
The Eagle Bumper Pool's 41.5-by-57.5-inch footprint makes it a practical fit for bar and tavern game rooms, pizzeria back rooms, and bowling center arcades where full-size pool tables cannot be accommodated. The two-player head-to-head format also suits hotel game rooms, restaurant waiting areas, and college student unions where short, self-contained game sessions are the norm. Route operators placing equipment in laundromats or convenience stores with limited floor area will find the compact dimensions workable in spaces that standard billiards tables cannot occupy.
