Fourteen LED-ringed target holes around a circular playfield. Four distinct colors. Each ball dropped from the top mechanism one at a time.
Overview
Tilt A Wheel is a physics-based mechanical ticket redemption game from Coastal Amusements in which players physically rotate a circular playfield using a swivel-style controller to steer falling balls into fourteen illuminated scoring targets. The cabinet stands 109 inches tall with a 37-inch-wide footprint, placing the lit playfield at eye level while keeping the floor area to a single standard slot. Balls are contained within the cabinet and reloaded automatically between plays.
Key Features
Swivel Controller Directly Linked to the Tilting Playfield
The swivel-style controller is physically connected to the circular playfield. Rotating it changes the tilt angle of the field in real time, redirecting each ball in flight. The input is immediate and one-to-one — there is no lag between handle position and field angle throughout the play cycle.
Fourteen RGB LED-Ringed Targets with Four Score Values
Each of the fourteen target holes around the playfield edge has an integrated ring of RGB LEDs. The color of each ring indicates its current point value: blue for 10 points, green for 20, yellow for 50, and red for 100. The dynamic lighting changes during play, so target values shift throughout the game cycle and the active color assignments are readable from across the room.
Six-Tier Ticket Scoring Structure
The machine uses six distinct score zones to determine ticket payouts. Bright blue numerical LED counters on the backboard display the current score, ticket value, and time remaining so both the player and bystanders can read the game state at a glance. Operator-adjustable ticket settings allow the payout tiers to be configured per location.
Automatic Ball Return with Low-Bounce Balls
Balls are released one-by-one from a top mechanism, drop onto the circular playfield, and are fully contained within the cylindrical cabinet enclosure. The low-bounce factor on the balls reduces erratic deflection, making ball trajectory more directly influenced by the field angle the player sets. The automatic reload means no operator intervention is needed between plays.
Tall Cabinet with Full-Height Graphic Wrap
At 109 inches assembled — roughly nine feet — the cabinet carries colorful artwork across its full height, backed by RGB LED lighting fixtures. The cylindrical game enclosure at the top sits above most surrounding cabinets, making the lit playfield and graphic panels visible from multiple approach angles across a dense floor layout.
How It Plays
The player grips the swivel controller and rotates the circular playfield to angle each ball toward the highest-value LED-ringed targets as it drops from the top mechanism — the field tilts in real time, so every ball requires an active adjustment rather than a locked position. From the aisle, bystanders see the cylindrical playfield tilting back and forth, balls dropping one at a time through the color-coded targets, and the blue LED score and ticket counters updating on the backboard with each successful placement.

Why Operators Love It
37-Inch Width Fits Standard Wall Slots
At 37 inches wide and 46 inches deep, the Tilt A Wheel occupies a single standard game slot. Operators can place it along a wall run without breaking the line or sacrificing an adjacent position.
Operator-Adjustable Ticket Settings
The six payout tiers are configurable from the operator menu, allowing ticket values to be tuned per location without hardware changes. This makes it straightforward to align the payout curve with the redemption economics of a given venue.
Fully Self-Contained Ball Handling
Balls are contained within the cylindrical cabinet and reloaded automatically after each play — no loose balls on the floor, no manual reloading between games. The closed ball-handling system reduces the attendant time required to keep the machine in continuous operation.
Single-Input Control Reduces Queue Friction
The control interface is one swivel handle that rotates the playfield — one input, one outcome. Younger players and first-time users can operate the machine without instruction, which keeps throughput moving in mixed-age venues where attendant coaching slows the line.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the assembled footprint of the Tilt A Wheel?
Assembled, the Tilt A Wheel measures 37 inches wide by 46 inches deep by 109 inches tall. The 37-by-46-inch floor area fits a standard single-cabinet wall slot.
How does the Tilt A Wheel determine ticket payouts?
The machine accumulates a point score based on which color-coded target holes each ball lands in — blue holes award 10 points, green 20, yellow 50, and red 100. At the end of the play cycle, the total score determines which of six payout tiers the player falls into, with blue LED counters on the backboard displaying the running score and current ticket value throughout the game.
Does the Tilt A Wheel accept card payments?
Yes. The Tilt A Wheel is built coin or card swipe ready, supporting both traditional coin operation and card-based payment systems without requiring a separate retrofit.
What is the shipping weight of the Tilt A Wheel?
The Tilt A Wheel ships at 633 lbs with shipping dimensions of 41 inches wide by 49 inches deep by 96 inches tall. Freight delivery with lift-gate service is recommended given the weight and height of the crated unit.
Ideal Placement
The Tilt A Wheel fits naturally in family entertainment centers, bowling center arcades, trampoline parks, and pizzeria game rooms where the guest mix spans young children through adults. Its 37-inch width also suits tighter installations — hotel game rooms, mini-golf clubhouses, and restaurant waiting areas — where a wider redemption cabinet would be difficult to position along a wall run.
