Four stations side by side. Each player swings a tethered mallet. The first to hit enough moles triggers the buzzer.
Overview
The Whac-A-Mole FEC is Bob's Space Racers' attendant-free, multi-player take on the classic Whac-A-Mole format, built as a side-by-side competitive race game for four simultaneous players. Each player swings their station's tethered mallet to drive moles back into their holes, racing to accumulate points until one player reaches the preset threshold and triggers the win buzzer. The unit ships in configurable bank sizes — four, five, or six stations — and is designed for card-swipe payment systems, making it deployable without dedicated staff.
Key Features
Competitive Four-Player Race Format
Unlike single-player Whac-A-Mole cabinets, each station in this bank operates independently but simultaneously — all four players compete against each other in real time. The first player to reach the preset point threshold triggers the end-of-game buzzer, producing a single definitive winner. The race structure keeps all players active throughout the session rather than waiting for turns.
4-Inch Prize Ticket Dispenser
The game comes standard with a special 4-inch prize ticket — wider than the standard 2-inch redemption ticket used in most arcade units. The larger ticket format creates expanded options for prize redemption presentation and supports themed or branded ticket designs specific to the venue.
Card Swipe Payment Ready
The cabinet is pre-configured to accept card swipe reader installations, making it compatible with game card and cashless payment systems used in FEC environments. This supports attendant-free operation — players activate their station independently without staff involvement.
Configurable Bank Sizes with Optional Display Cabinets
The Whac-A-Mole FEC is available in four-, five-, or six-station banks with or without spacers, giving operators flexibility to match their floor footprint. Optional freestanding prize display cabinets (23.5 in L x 15.5 in W x 73.25 in H) can be added at each end of the bank to frame the installation and present redemption prizes at the point of play.
BSR Serviceable Electronics
The game runs on Bob's Space Racers' internal electronics platform, the same system used across their FEC product line. Operator manuals, tech tips, and card reader installation documentation are available directly from the manufacturer, supporting in-house technician servicing.
How It Plays
Each player grabs the tethered mallet at their station and swings it down onto any mole that pops up wearing a hardhat — driving it back into its hole and adding points to their score. The race runs until one player's tally hits the preset threshold, at which point the buzzer fires and the winner is called. From the side, a full bank of four players swinging mallets simultaneously is visible from across the venue floor.

Why Operators Love It
Attendant-Free Operation
The FEC configuration is designed explicitly for unattended deployment. With card-swipe payment ready out of the box and self-contained game logic that determines a winner automatically via the buzzer, no staff member needs to be stationed at the game to run or reset sessions.
Scalable Bank Configuration
Available in four-, five-, and six-station configurations with and without spacers, the bank length ranges from 109.75 in to 218.75 in. Operators can match the footprint to the specific wall or floor space available rather than building around a fixed cabinet size.
Fully Customizable to the Venue
Bob's Space Racers offers customization on the cabinet graphics and prize display cabinets, allowing the installation to match the venue's visual identity. Optional freestanding display cabinets flank the bank and provide a dedicated space to present redemption prizes at eye level next to the game.
Dual-Voltage Support for Export Deployment
The game is available in both 110V/15A domestic and 220V/7.5A export configurations, making it deployable in international FEC and amusement park venues without requiring a step-down transformer or custom electrical work.
Ideal Placement
Suited for family entertainment centers, amusement parks, indoor play facilities, and large FEC arcade floors where a multi-player, attendant-free redemption anchor is needed. The bank configuration fits against straight wall runs and works well near ticket redemption counters or prize areas.
