Seven scored lanes. Balls release automatically. The playing field runs the full cycle without a staff member present.
Overview
The Bob's Space Racers Roll Down Add 'Em Up is an attendant-free redemption game built around a seven-lane rolling-ball playfield, where each lane carries a distinct point value and the game releases balls automatically once play begins. Available in one-, two-, and three-player configurations, the unit scales to fit the footprint and capacity of the venue. Players accumulate points toward a ticket payout dispensed directly by the machine — no staff required to run or reset the game.
Key Features
Seven-Lane Scored Playfield
The playing surface is divided into seven lanes, each labeled with a different point value. Players roll balls down the lanes to accumulate points toward the target score required to earn tickets. Lane differentiation gives players a visible, immediate decision on each roll — higher-value lanes create a natural focal point that is readable from beside or behind the machine.
Automatic Ball Release
Once a game starts, the machine releases balls to the player automatically. No attendant is needed to hand out balls, count them, or reset between plays. The game cycle from start to ticket dispensing is fully self-contained.
Programmable Game Settings
Game settings and options are electronically controlled and configurable, allowing operators to adjust gameplay parameters and payout thresholds. Multiple play options and styles can be set to match the venue's demographic or revenue targets without hardware changes.
Specialty 2" x 4" Ticket Dispenser
The Roll Down Add 'Em Up dispenses a specialty 2" x 4" format ticket — larger than the standard 2" wide redemption ticket used in most arcade machines. Tickets can be exchanged immediately for a prize or saved and combined for larger prize redemptions, supporting both a quick-reward and an accumulation-based redemption model.
Scalable Multi-Player Configuration
The unit is available as a one-, two-, or three-player cabinet, with additional player units able to be added to match the building's available floor space. Each player section is a self-contained lane set, so the same attendant-free operation applies regardless of how many player stations are configured.
How It Plays
The player rolls balls down the seven-lane playfield, aiming for the lanes carrying the highest point values to reach the target score. The machine feeds the next ball automatically, so the action on the playfield is continuous — bystanders standing to the side see a rolling ball, a lit lane register a score, and the point counter climb with each successful roll. When the target score is reached, the ticket dispenser activates and issues the specialty 2" x 4" ticket directly to the player.

Why Operators Love It
Full Attendant-Free Operation
The game handles ball delivery, scoring, and ticket dispensing without staff involvement. From game start through ticket issue, the machine runs the complete cycle independently — reducing the labor cost of running a redemption game on a busy floor.
Configurable Payout and Game Parameters
Electronic game settings let operators dial in point targets, payout thresholds, and play style options without physical hardware changes. Settings can be adjusted per location to match the venue's ticket economy or player demographic.
Scalable Footprint
At 29.5 inches per player unit, the cabinet scales from a single-player install to a three-player bank without requiring custom infrastructure. Additional units can be added to fill available floor space in a venue, making it practical for both compact route placements and larger FEC arcade floors.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Roll Down Add 'Em Up require an attendant to operate?
No. The Roll Down Add 'Em Up is designed as an Attendant-Free Game (AFG). The machine releases balls automatically after play begins and dispenses tickets directly to the player upon reaching the target score — no staff presence is needed to run, reset, or complete a game cycle.
What ticket format does the Roll Down Add 'Em Up use?
The machine dispenses a specialty 2" x 4" ticket — larger than the standard 2"-wide redemption ticket used in most arcade machines. These tickets can be redeemed immediately for a prize or accumulated toward a larger prize redemption.
How many player stations can the Roll Down Add 'Em Up support?
The unit is available in one-, two-, and three-player configurations. Additional player units can be added to expand the bank further, sized to fit the available floor space in the operator's building.
What are the power requirements for domestic installation?
Each player unit draws 115V / 60Hz / 3.20A / 184W for domestic (U.S.) installation. Export configurations run on 230V / 50Hz / 1.60A / 184W. Both configurations consume the same wattage per unit.
Ideal Placement
The Roll Down Add 'Em Up fits naturally in family entertainment centers, bowling center arcades, trampoline parks, and pizzeria game rooms where a redemption game that runs without dedicated staff is an operational advantage. Its 29.5-inch-per-unit width makes it a practical fit for venues that want to configure a multi-player bank along a single wall without committing to a large fixed footprint. The game's all-ages play format also makes it suitable for hotel game rooms and mini-golf clubhouses where the player demographic spans a wide age range.
