The Prize-O-Matic is a self-serve, unattended prize redemption unit from Benchmark Games International — a modular wall-style cabinet that accepts capsule dispensers, spindle prize racks, and secure lockers in any combination within a single footprint. A central touchscreen handles the full redemption transaction without staff involvement, making it equally suited as overflow coverage for a busy counter, after-hours operation when the counter is closed, or a standalone redemption station at smaller or route locations. The unit accepts eTickets and card swipe, and operators can manage inventory and settings remotely via wireless connectivity.

Five Linkable Module Types

The Prize-O-Matic supports five distinct module types that link to a single touchscreen display: Main Store (user interface), Spindle Prizes, Prize Locker (B), Prize Locker (C), and Capsule Store. Operators configure the combination at installation and can add modules over time as inventory needs grow.

Operator-Controlled Prize Catalog

Prize selection and ticket or card values are set by the operator, not fixed at the factory. Items can be repriced or rotated by location, allowing the same unit to serve different inventory strategies across a route.

Secure Prize Lockers for High-Value Items

Two locker module variants (B and C) hold higher-value prizes behind locked compartments that release only after the player's ticket or card balance is confirmed. This makes unattended operation viable for prizes beyond low-cost capsule items.

eTicket and Card Swipe Compatible

The unit is designed for eTicket and card-swipe payment systems, fitting into venues that have moved away from paper tickets. No separate reader hardware is required for standard card system integration.

Wireless Remote Management

Internal LED Lighting with Color-Changing Capsule Trim

Bright white internal LEDs illuminate the prize displays across the full cabinet width. The capsule modules add color-changing LED trim individually, making each capsule section visually distinct on the floor.

How It Plays

The player walks up to the central touchscreen, browses the prize catalog displayed on-screen, and selects an item. The cabinet dispenses from the corresponding module — a capsule drops, a spindle prize is released, or a locker compartment unlocks — based on the selection and confirmed balance. From across the venue, the full-width LED-lit wall communicates that redemption is open without any counter staff visible at the station.
