The Benchmark Games Popeye Boxer is a commercially-built punch-strength machine themed around the officially licensed Popeye character roster. Players strike the bag to drive the Spinach Can Power Meter from 000 to 900, competing against the standing high score. Spinach Can Power Meter Scoring System

Scores are tied to a Spinach Can Power Meter that runs from 000 to 900. The scale is printed on the left-front of the machine with labeled milestones — 000 reads "Get Stronger!" and 900 reads "Unstoppable!" One large 3-digit red LED display shows the current score; a smaller display shows the standing high score; a third small display shows credits. Score ranges are visible before play begins.

The standing high score remains posted on the secondary display between plays, giving the next player a target before they insert a credit.
