Eight virtual target scenes on a 43-inch vertical HD screen. Real soft balls. IR sensors read the speed and angle of every throw.
Overview
Quick Toss by JET Games is a ball-toss redemption game that combines physical throwing with eight selectable digital target scenes — coconuts, targets, clowns, balloons, aliens, snowmen, and more — displayed on a vertically mounted 43-inch HD screen behind the throw zone. Players toss real soft balls at virtual targets tracked by IR sensors that read both speed and angle, earning points and tickets based on accuracy. The black cabinet with bright yellow text, a red-and-white carnival tent top, and front-facing RGB LED circular lights gives the unit a distinct midway look on any floor.
Key Features
Eight Selectable Target Scenes
Before each round, players choose from eight themed environments displayed on the HD screen: coconuts, targets, clowns, balloons, aliens, snowmen, and additional scenes. Selection is made via one of three front panel buttons, giving each play a different visual challenge and keeping the experience varied across repeat sessions.
IR Speed-and-Angle Ball Detection
Infrared sensors track both the velocity and trajectory of each thrown ball, translating the physical throw into on-screen target interaction. This two-axis detection means the outcome responds directly to how the player throws — harder or from a different angle produces a different result on screen.
Plexiglass-Protected 43-Inch Vertical HD Display
The rear-mounted 43-inch screen sits behind a plexiglass protective barrier, shielding the display from direct ball impact while keeping target visuals fully visible. The vertical orientation fills the back wall of the playfield from floor to overhead, making the target scene readable from a distance.
Auto-Release Ball Gate
Soft play balls are held behind a moving gate that opens automatically when a credit is registered. This keeps the ball supply contained and controlled between plays, preventing unauthorized use and ensuring the throw zone is only active during a paid session.
Carnival Cabinet with RGB LED Accent Lighting
The high-contrast black cabinet features bright yellow text and a red-and-white striped carnival tent top marquee. RGB LED circular lights ring the front of the cabinet, drawing attention to the unit from across the room. Plexiglass side panels contain errant balls while keeping the full playfield visible from multiple approach angles.
Ticket Dispenser and Dual Payment Compatibility
A ticket dispenser is included with the unit. The game accepts both coin and card swipe payment methods, allowing operators to configure it to match their venue's payment infrastructure without additional hardware modifications.
How It Plays
The player uses one of three panel buttons to select a target scene — clowns, balloons, aliens, or one of five other themed environments — and then picks up a soft ball and throws it at the screen zone. IR sensors register the speed and angle of each throw, and the corresponding virtual targets react on the 43-inch display when a hit is detected. From the side, bystanders see the full lit screen through the plexiglass panels, watching targets fall or react in real time as each ball is thrown — the physical motion of throwing combined with on-screen target animation is visible from well outside the immediate play area.

Why Operators Love It
Banks Together for Multi-Unit Rows
JET Games designed Quick Toss to bank alongside other units. The 41.5-inch width and straight cabinet profile allow multiple machines to be aligned in a row — a common floor layout for carnival-style redemption sections that doubles visible action from a single aisle.
Dual-Voltage Power Supply
The unit runs on both 110V and 220V, making it straightforward to deploy in venues with either standard North American wiring or international electrical infrastructure without a separate converter or rewiring.
Contained Ball Supply Between Plays
The gated ball release holds soft balls behind a moving gate that only opens on credit. Combined with plexiglass side containment panels, balls stay within the cabinet footprint between rounds, reducing floor scatter and the associated staff attention required to keep the area clear.
Protected Display Reduces Replacement Risk
The plexiglass barrier in front of the 43-inch screen absorbs direct ball contact before it reaches the panel surface. In a game where balls are thrown repeatedly at the display area, that physical layer separates the screen from the play zone and reduces the likelihood of display damage under normal operating conditions.
Ideal Placement
Quick Toss fits naturally in family entertainment centers, indoor amusement parks, and large-format arcades with open redemption floor sections. Its 95-inch depth requires a dedicated lane or alcove; operators with carnival-themed zones or midway-style layouts will find the cabinet aesthetic consistent with surrounding decor. The banking-compatible profile supports multi-unit configurations in venues with the floor space to run a ball-toss row.
