A trackball cabinet running real PGA TOUR courses. Six licensed venues, five new fantasy courses, NFC tap-to-pay on the control panel.

Overview

Golden Tee PGA TOUR 2026 from Incredible Technologies is the latest commercial edition of the longest-running arcade golf franchise, now featuring fully licensed PGA TOUR courses alongside new fantasy environments, league software, and NFC-enabled tap-to-pay and player login built directly into the control panel. The Deluxe cabinet ships with a stand and measures 53.8" deep × 53.2" wide × 86.4" tall, sized for bar floors, FEC lanes, and venue corners where a full-size upright draws a crowd.

Key Features

NFC Reader on the Control Panel

An NFC reader is mounted in the middle-left section of the control panel. Players tap any NFC-enabled credit card to pay, or tap their smartphone running the GT PGA TOUR Caddy app (available on Apple App Store and Google Play) to log in to their player account. The app replaces the physical Golden Tee Player Card and stores stats, history, and account data.

RUN IT League Software

Operators and players can create and manage fully customizable competitive leagues directly through the machine. Described by Incredible Technologies as the deepest competitive feature in Golden Tee history, RUN IT supports ongoing scheduled competition that keeps a regular player base tied to a specific location.

Six New Courses for 2026

Five new fantasy courses debut in 2026: Alaska Lakes (Trapper Creek, AK), Machu Picchu (Cusco, Peru), Acoma Mesa (El Malpais, NM), Hawkeye Hills (Decorah, IA), and Gunnison Gap (Gunnison, CO). The new licensed PGA TOUR course is TPC Twin Cities (Blaine, MN), an Arnold Palmer-designed layout featuring water hazards and drivable par-4s.

Reimagined Skins Mode — Now Online

Skins Mode has been rebuilt for 2026 with escalating stakes as each round progresses, and for the first time, it runs online — connecting players across cabinets rather than limiting competition to a single unit.

Two New Shot Types: Flop and Punch

The Flop shot and Punch shot are new additions to the 2026 shot library. Both are designed for recovery situations — tight lies, obstacles, or tight pin positions — adding a layer of shot selection that experienced players can use to separate their scores from casual rounds.

Shots of the Game Highlights

After each round, the cabinet automatically generates a countdown of the top five shots from that session in a custom postgame highlight reel. The recap plays out on the screen before the cabinet returns to attract mode.

How It Plays

The player rolls the trackball to control shot direction and power, using the spin of the ball to shape draws, fades, and the new Flop or Punch shots for recovery situations. From a few feet away, the rolling motion and the full-cabinet display showing a PGA TOUR course — canyon walls, alpine terrain, or a Palmer-designed fairway — are readable as active play. At the end of the round, the Shots of the Game highlight reel runs on screen, replaying the five best moments before the machine resets.

Why Operators Love It

Tap-to-Pay Reduces Transaction Friction

The NFC reader accepts contactless credit cards and smartphone payments directly on the control panel, removing the coin jam and card-reader failure points that slow throughput on older units. Players pay and log in with a single tap.

Remote and USB Update Paths

The 2026 cabinet supports both remote (online) and USB software updates. Operators can push annual content updates — new courses, software patches, configuration changes — without a service call or cabinet swap.

League Software Anchors a Regular Player Base

RUN IT League Software lets operators or venue managers set up scheduled competitive leagues on-site. Leagues give players a structured reason to return on specific days, building a predictable traffic pattern around a single machine.

Documented Setup and Service Resources

Incredible Technologies publishes a full set of operator resources for this cabinet: a full kit setup and operation guide, online configuration guide, system setup menus and collections guide, troubleshooting PDF, and video instructions for common service tasks including trackball replacement. All are available directly from the manufacturer.

Ideal Placement

Bars, pubs, and sports lounges where Golden Tee has historically performed as a destination game. Restaurants, arcades, golf clubs, FECs, recreational centers, and social clubs. The Deluxe cabinet's 53.2" width fits as a corner or wall placement in standard venue floor plans.
