Four glass sides. One towering cabinet. Miss the prize — the bonus wheel spins and the light sequence runs.

Overview

The Elaut Cosmic XL is a tall-format crane machine built around a guaranteed-outcome mechanic: if the claw attempt does not deliver a prize, a spinning bonus wheel activates and awards up to 100 tickets. The tall version stands 118 inches (approximately 3 meters); the Cosmic XL S short version reaches 100.5 inches and is built for venues with lower ceiling clearance. Both share the same four-sided glass cabinet, XO claw hardware sized for large plush, and triple ticket stacker configuration — in a smaller footprint than the Big One and Big One X-treme series.

Key Features

Bonus Spin Ticket Award on Missed Plays

When a claw attempt does not secure a prize, the bonus wheel activates automatically. A light travels around the wheel display and the player stops it on a number — that number becomes the ticket award, up to 100 tickets per spin. The bonus feature can be enabled or disabled in the machine's configuration.

Four-Sided Glass Cabinet

All four walls of the prize field are glass, leaving the interior fully visible from any approach angle. At 118 inches tall, the cabinet reads from a distance across an arcade floor. The LED lighting in the cabinet edges is visible regardless of which side a player approaches from, making island and open-floor placement effective.

Triple Ticket Stacker — 18,000-Ticket Capacity

Three individual ticket stackers mount inside the cabinet and load simultaneously, combining for up to 18,000 tickets total. Each stacker is removable independently, so a technician can swap or reload one stacker while the machine stays in service.

XO Claw Sized for Large Plush

The XO claw is configured for Size 6 toys — approximately 55 cm — which is larger than what standard crane machines accommodate. Operators can stock visibly oversized prizes that read clearly through the glass from outside the cabinet.

Tall and Short Version Options

The standard Cosmic XL reaches 118 inches. The Cosmic XL S measures 100.5 inches and is built for FECs and venues where ceiling height rules out the full-height unit. Both versions carry the same prize field, claw hardware, and bonus spin configuration. The short version weighs 937 lbs versus 1,036 lbs for the tall version.

Joystick or Push-Button Control Panel

The control panel ships in one of two configurations: a traditional joystick or a push-button layout. Operators select the control style at order time to match their typical player demographic or venue preference.

How It Plays

The player maneuvers the oversized XO claw over the prize field using a joystick or push-button panel, then drops it onto a target plush. If the claw attempt fails to deliver a prize to the chute, the bonus wheel activates — a light travels the wheel display and the player presses a button to stop it, locking in a ticket award of up to 100. From across the arcade floor, the light sequence running on a 118-inch cabinet is readable at a distance, and bystanders can watch the wheel spin and the player's stop-the-light moment.

Why Operators Love It

Configurable Bonus Wheel Per Location

The bonus spin feature can be enabled or disabled in the machine's configuration settings. Operators managing multiple locations with different prize budgets or payout structures can adjust the consolidation mechanic independently on each unit.

Short Version for Low-Ceiling Venues

The Cosmic XL S at 100.5 inches carries the same prize field, XO claw, stacker, and bonus wheel as the full-height unit. Operators placing in warehouse conversions, mezzanine-level floors, or FECs with lower drop ceilings can spec the short version directly rather than sourcing a different machine.

Independent Stacker Swaps During Operation

Each of the three ticket stackers pulls out independently. A technician can reload or swap a single stacker while the other two remain loaded and the machine stays in service. The 18,000-ticket combined capacity also extends the interval between restocking requirements during peak periods.

Smaller Footprint Than Big One Series

At 59 inches wide by 69 inches deep, the Cosmic XL occupies less floor space than the Big One and Big One X-treme models while retaining the large-plush prize field and tall glass cabinet format. Operators who want a high-visibility centerpiece crane without committing the full footprint of the larger Elaut units have a direct alternative here.

Ideal Placement

Best suited as a centerpiece or anchor unit in family entertainment centers, large arcades, and indoor amusement venues. The tall version requires adequate ceiling clearance (minimum 118 inches plus service clearance); the short version at 100.5 inches fits most standard commercial spaces. Four-sided glass visibility makes open-floor or island placement more effective than wall placement.
