Smart Industries Ticket Time RX

Ticket Time RX is a coin-operated crane redemption machine with an automated ticket-roll scanning and reloading system, designed for arcade and FEC environments.

Overview

The Ticket Time RX builds on the original Ticket Time crane platform by adding an automated ticket-roll handling system and enhanced lighting. Its spinning bowl reads ticket rolls, posts values to the player's card, and returns the rolls to the game automatically — eliminating the manual reload process operators previously had to manage. The cabinet is available in a single 31" unit or a dual-station 61" double configuration.

Key Features

Auto ReLoad Spinning Bowl System

A motorized spinning bowl scans ticket rolls quickly, logs the ticket values to the player's card, and automatically dumps the rolls back into the game. No manual reloading is required between plays.

Color-Changing LED Illumination

The bowl and front frame are lit by color-changing LEDs cycling through red, green, and blue. The front frame features its own dedicated LED illumination. An optional programmable LED grid on the bowl and stand can be configured to display custom messages. A single fixed LED color can also be selected at the time of order from the following options: Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, Pink, Red, and Orange.

Optional Video Monitor

An optional video monitor can be added to display animated screens with accompanying sound effects, adding a secondary visual element to the play experience alongside the built-in interactive sound system.

31" Crane with Medium Claw Assembly

The standard configuration includes a 31" crane arm with a medium claw assembly and a 4-way joystick for player control. Small and large claw assemblies are available as optional upgrades. The high-volume capacity playfield accommodates a substantial quantity of ticket rolls at one time.

Security and Cabinet Construction

The cabinet features steel security padlock tabs on the console and front glass door, a tamper-resistant coat-hanger-proof cabinet design, an independent locking coin box, tempered safety glass, and durable Lexan front panels. The prize chute opening measures 6.5" x 7.5".

Play Till You Win and Credit Display

"Play Till You Win" mode is selectable via an on/off dip switch setting. A 7-segment LED display shows current credits and timer status. An Imonex coin mechanism is installed standard, with DBA-ready configuration and optional bill acceptor upgrades available.

How It Plays

Players insert coins or tokens to activate the crane, then use the 4-way joystick to position the claw over the spinning bowl filled with ticket rolls. When the claw drops and retrieves a roll, the machine scans the ticket value, credits the player's card, and automatically reloads the roll back into the bowl for the next player. The interactive sound system and high-volume playfield support continuous play without operator interruption.

DBA and Bill Acceptor Options

The machine ships DBA-ready. Optional bill acceptor configurations include a DBA with 500-bill stacker compatible with Pyramid, ICT, and MEI units, as well as a US/Canadian CoinCo unit with a 400-bill stacker.

Ticket Kit Rolls

Ticket kit rolls per station are available exclusively through the Smart Industries Parts Department and are not included with the base machine purchase.

Power and Voltage

The standard unit operates on 110V AC. A 220V AC transformer is available as an optional add-on for international installations.
