A player punches the pad. The lighted dial spins, decelerates, and stops on a ticket value.
Overview
Ticket Boxer by Benchmark Games is a coin-op strength machine with a ticket redemption mechanic: punch force determines how fast a lighted dial spins, and where it stops sets the ticket payout. Unlike traditional strength testers that display only a score, Ticket Boxer guarantees every player walks away with tickets regardless of how hard they hit — shifting the appeal from pure competition to purposeful punching across all age groups.
Key Features
Force-Driven Spinning Dial
Punch force directly controls the spin rate of the lighted dial. A harder punch sends the dial spinning faster and longer before it settles on a ticket value. Players can see and feel the connection between their hit and the dial's motion, which defines the core gameplay loop.
Guaranteed Ticket Payout on Every Play
Every punch — regardless of force — results in at least some ticket payout. The dial always lands on a ticket value, so there is no play where a customer leaves empty-handed. This structure broadens the machine's appeal beyond strong players to younger guests and casual players who still want a redemption reward.
Reactive Lighting Display
The dial's light display activates the moment a punch connects and remains visible as it decelerates to a stop. The lit indicator sweeping around the dial is the primary visual bystanders see from across the arcade floor after each hit.
Themed Audio During Gameplay
The cabinet plays themed music timed to each round. Audio cues run alongside the dial's light animation, giving both the player and bystanders a full sensory signal during the spin-down phase.
How It Plays
The player throws a punch at the target pad, and the lighted dial immediately begins spinning — faster for harder hits, slower for lighter ones. Bystanders watch the dial wind down from across the floor, the lit indicator decelerating until it stops on a ticket value. The moment the dial settles, the machine dispenses tickets and the player sees exactly what their punch earned.

Why Operators Love It
No Win/Loss Threshold to Configure
Because the dial always lands on a ticket value, operators do not need to manage a separate win/loss threshold. Every play produces a redemption transaction, which removes the frustration variable common to pure strength testers and simplifies the guest experience.
38-Inch Width Fits Standard Wall Slots
At 38 inches wide and 48.5 inches deep, the footprint aligns with most upright redemption cabinets, making it straightforward to position within an existing redemption zone row without reconfiguring the surrounding layout.
Usable Across the Full Guest Age Range
The guaranteed-ticket mechanic means younger and lighter players still receive a redemption payout rather than a zero score. This makes the cabinet viable in mixed-age FEC environments where a pure strength tester would exclude a portion of the guest base.
87-Inch Profile Readable from the Floor
At 87 inches tall, the cabinet puts the spinning dial at a height that reads from standard arcade floor distances. The light animation during the spin-down phase is visible well beyond the immediate play area, serving as a passive floor signal during each play cycle.
Ideal Placement
Arcades, family entertainment centers, FEC redemption zones, bowling alleys, movie theater game areas, and attraction venues with active redemption counters.
